WHAT
Architect Tiger Studios has partnered with Neural DSP to hold the Thick Riff Thursday 2025 riff contest!
With three chances to win, the prizes are the following:
1st place: Nano Cortex with 2 NDSP plugin vouchers
2nd place: 2 NDSP plugin vouchers
3rd place: 1 NDSP plugin voucher
All three winners will also receive TRT merch!
WHEN
Participants must post their contest submissions between Thursday, March 20, 2025 and Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at 11:59 PM EST.
On Friday, April 4, 2025, Nick will post a video on his YouTube channel announcing the 15 contest finalists and opening the vote to the public. Everyone will be able to vote for their favorite riff!
Polls will close on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at 11:59 PM EST and the winners will be announced on Instagram and YouTube Shorts on Monday, April 7, 2025!

Post your video entry on Instagram by April 2, 2025 at 11:59 PM EST using the hashtag #TRT2025RiffContest
Riff Guidelines
• Riff must be original and written specifically for this contest
• Riff must be between 30 and 60 seconds
• Stylistically, the riff should be in rock & metal adjacent styles, but feel free to be as creative as you wish when it comes to fusing genres. For example, feel free to use elements of electronic, jazz, pop, R&B, etc in your riff!
• Only one entry per contestant
WHERE
All contest submissions must be posted on Instagram following the guidelines above. Make sure your account is not private! Otherwise, we will not be able to see your entry.
On Friday, April 4, 2025, the polls to vote for the winning riffs will be open right here, on the Riff Contest page of the Architect Tiger Studios website.
